The kittens (well 2 of them) have opened their eyes , and they are great 9 days old today :) need to add more pictures on here tomorrow , they are quite quick at draggin themselfs around to :). cant wait till their playful age , but im also ready for their naughty side to lol. Already brought them their first toy :) x

One day old!

Today the kittens are 4 days old! WOW. Jinxy let me have a cuddle with each one whilst she ate. My one im keeping is gorgouse and quite active, I think she will be just like her mum lol. The daddy (who we think is benson) shows no intrest at all .. I think he is just plain lazy lol.

Jinxy gets fed 1.5 cans of cat food a day and quarter a small carton of cats milk a day. So far the kittens seem to be thriving on the amount of milk Jinxy is giving them. One of the kittens constantly cries when Jinxy leaves it to eat. Very cute. The only position the kittens like you holding them is against your chest , using your hand as a blanket :).

I will post some pics of them from day one. I want to try pictures of them every day. I cant wait until the old enough that we can play with them.

Heres one of the kittens :). Today though we noticed him/her doing gasping like movements with its mouth, We rubbed its back and put it back with Jinxy , we are hoping it was just looking for food or some thing. So far the kittens are have been fine for almost 3 days. 3 Days old , thats crazy. It goes to fast lol.

Today I choose the kitten I want to keep. I will post the pic and when I upload the memory card out of my camera , its got a cute white face and looks quite similar to its mumma, I think Jinxy will like having one of her babies live with her.. it feels cruel to rehome the other 2 babies , but our house is like a zoo enough lol. We will see.

I havent updated my blog since october of 2008. thats crazy, so much has happend with my kitties.

First all we rehomed Dolly and Jackson , they didnt get on great with the dogs and a older experianced lady has lost her cat and was desperate for a pair , shes at home 24/7 and has enough love and time for them , it was sad to see them go but we had a good few months with them , the only thing i wernt keen on is that she changed Jacksons name to Dougle.. because Jackson apparently sounds weird?

Jinxy managed to get pregnant before being spayed , she gave birth yesturday 9/7/09 she has 3 beautiful kittens black and white.. i think theres a chance her half brother benson could be the daddy.. im not so sure yet though lol.

Benson is still the fat lazy cat who loves his sleep and peace. He pays no attention to the kittens , but Jinxy is a amazing cat mummy and is doing great , the babies are 2 days old now , I cant wait until they reach 3 weeks.. which is enough for me to be able to relax , i know kittens can be fine then suddenly die , each time i peep through the den (under the stairs) where she choose to nest , i brace myself , i hope they continue to thrive and are fine.
